Eligibility

Application for admission to H.S. 1st year Science, Arts and Commerce are invited from those who have passed H.S.L.C. examination conducted by the board of Secondary Education (SEBA), CBSE or any other equivalent examination recognised by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.

Application

Students seeking admission to the college shall have to apply in prescribed form available in the college office.

Testimonials

Attested one copy of the following documents are to be submitted along with the filled in application form :
a) Admit Card, Marksheet and Pass certificate of H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination.
b) A character certificate from the Head of the institution last attended by the candidate.
c) SC/ST/OBC/MOBC certificate if applicable from competent authority.
d) Two recent passport sized photographs.

Reservation

Out of the total available seats, some seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates as per the rules formulated by the management committee.

Once the admission is taken, the admission fees will not be refunded.

Selection of Candidates

Candidates will be selected for admission strictly on the basis of merit by a committee and the decision of the committee will be the final. All candidates seeking admission shall have to appear in the interview on the date and time as scheduled by the authority.

Feed Back Process

In order to enhance the overall performance of the students, the following feed back process will be implemented :
a) A unit test will be held.
b) Complete analysis of the home assignment.
c) Acquainting the students with various competitive exams such as JAT/MET/AIEEE/IIT etc.

IDENTITY CARD

The Photo Identity Card will be issued on admission. The same has to be brought by every student during college hours and has to be produced on demand failing which they will not be allowed to attend their classes.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT

Students must attend their classes regularly, they must require a minimum attendance of 90% of the classes held or otherwise they will not to be allowed to appear at their final examination. A student failing to attend classes for 25 days at a stretch without proper knowledge of the authority is liable to forfiet his / her seat.

Examination

It is compulsory that students must appear in all the unit test/ Terminal Test and other special departmental exams conducted by the college students failing to appear in the examination without proper authentic reason will have to pay a fine of Rs. 100.00 per paper.

RULES FOR MAINTENANCE OF DISCIPLINE AMONG THE STUDENTS

a) Great emphasis is laid on discipline and students are expected to maintain a high standard of discipline.
b) The students must abide by all rules and regulations as prescribed by the college authority.
c) Violation of rules, unsatisfactory progress, irregular clearance of college fees, adoption of unfair means during examination etc. may lead to suspension or expulsion from the college.
d) All power for maintenance of discipline are rested with the principal of the institution and his/her decision shall be final in all such matters.
e) Without proper clearance of Tuition Fees / Dues for the current session, students will not be allowed to appear in the final examination.
f) It is compulsory that students must wear uniform as prescribed by the college.
g) Disciplinary committee has been formed to take disciplinary action against those who break the rules and regulation of the college. In the meeting, the parents or the guardians along with the concerned student must be present. The Members of the disciplinary committee consist of –
